Well, we are making progress on our house. I went by the house a couple of weeks ago and other than moving a pile of dirt, nothing looked any different than the day we signed the papers. When I went by today, I talked to the builders and they are getting ready to pour the concrete and should have a shell of our house up in the next 2 weeks. I am so excited. It is SO nice to finally know they are starting on mine and I will have something to go by and at least look at! The workers were very nice and they let me come up and walk around and just do whatever I wanted. I took lots of pictures. I know I will have plenty more before the house is done! ;-)

Today, we are just sitting around the house relaxing. The girls are watching TV and playing. I am getting the house picked up so that tonight when I get home, I do not have a mess to come home too. I am taking the kids to Burritt Museum to their Annual Members picnic where they will have lots of stuff for the kids to do. I think they will all enjoy it. It is from 6-8 so I am thinking maybe it will be a little cooler than it is now. At least, I hope. I can't forget the bug spray! ;-)

I am sitting here this morning, contemplating getting up! uugghhh! I don't really want to deal with any real life issues at the moment. I have fixed both the girls breakfast and got them settled. Now I just need a few minutes of quiet time, before they figure out that they want to fight this morning!

Not much going on at the moment. Steve is at work and possibly has to work tommorow, which is not his Sunday to work! I am not really happy about that but what can you do? I think I will go buy some lottery tickets this week! ;-)

I have to leave shortly to pick up the rest of our kiddo's! I was supposed to be out all ready this morning, hitting some yard sales, but we ALL overslept! We needed the rest though!

Today, I took Emma and Brooke to see Cars at the theater! We had planned to go to the 3:00 movie and we got there and got popcorn and coke (of course) and we went and found the theater that had Cars above the door and we went in and found a seat! When we went in, I noticed that the movie was already playing and it was only like 3:02 and I thought it was strange that we missed all the previews and it was already on. We sat down and watched like 10 minutes and all of a sudden the credits start rolling. We got up and went out and I went back to the ticket counter and told the girl what happened. She asked which one we went into and I told her and she said that, that one was the 1:00 showing and we caught the ending of it. Apparantly, they had multiple showings of the movie. I then asked if we could get tickets for the 4:00 show since we had missed by that time, the 1st 30 minutes of the movie. So we ran and washed my car and then came back and watched the 4:00! It was so funny, because we already had our popcorn and coke so we went right in and sat down! Emma was exhausted by this time though, so she went to sleep after like 15 min. and slept for an hour! Brooke and I watched it though and we woke Emma up after a little while and she watched the last 30 min of it too. I am not sure how much she liked it since she missed so much! We will have to buy it when it comes out on DVD, because I think once she gets to watch it she will love it! I know Harrison will love it too!

Well, I am off to make supper! Steve will be home soon!

Today is the day! Brooke is leaving to go to camp!! I am so nervous. My stomach is in knots!! :-( I know she will be fine, but still! uugghhhh! This is the 1st time, in a long time that she will be spending the night away from me or her dad! I have all of her stuff packed so we are just waiting for time to leave. She has already had her breakfast this morning so she is sitting in the living room watching cartoons! I know I will probably cry when I leave her this morning. I just hope I can hold it in until I get out of the parking lot!

Today, I am getting Brooke's things ready to go for her 1st spend the night camp. She is going with church and she will leave Wednesday morning and will be back Friday. She is SO excited. I still have to go get a couple of things like shampoo and toothpaste. I also have to take her bag to MeMaw so that she can monogram her name on it. I am SO nervous but I am sure she will love it! Alot of her friends are going so it should be fun!

Tonight is her VBS recital. They are going to sing songs they learned in VBS this week. Other than that, not alot going on. Maybe the kids will be worn out and ready for bed when we get home!! ;-)

Emma is learning to swim!! We went to the pool today and she would go underwater and swim all by herself. Granted she was in the kiddie pool, where she could touch the bottom, but it is a start! :-) Maybe by the end of the summer, she will be swimming like a fish!!!!

Tonight was Uplink @ church and it was wonderful as usual. I love that church and I am so happy to have found it. Emma loves it and Steve seems to really like it too. There is SO much going on there and it is SO exciting to see the Lord work in so many ways!!

When we got home from church, Emma was acting ugly so I told her she had to go to her room for a few minutes. I was standing outside waiting on the dog, when I hear this bloodcurdling scream. I RUN in the house and Emma is holding her head. I asked her what happened and she said she ran into her door. I looked at her forehead and she had a bruise ALREADY within seconds of it happening. I am sure it will look worse in the morning. She is SO rough, I sometimes wonder if she was supposed to be a boy. I can hardly put dresses on her because her legs stay so scraped and bruised! When she was in school, she would come home with something new on her everyday and you could ask her how it happened and she would say "I fell". Uuugghhhhh!! I guess she is going to be a tough little cookie when she gets bigger!!

I just got done doing some scrapbooking! I love to do it, but I only can when everyone else falls asleep. Hence the reason, I am still up@ 2:20 in the morning. Then after you scrap for a couple of hours, you have a 1/2 hour worth of clean up. I try to make sure I get quite a few pages done when I am scrappin, to make it worth my while.

Well, I better be getting in the bed. Going to early service for church in the morning!
