It's a Baby Alive!

Emma has been wanting a Baby Alive since Christmas. At Christmas time, they were hard to come by and even if you did, they were very expensive. Since then, they have come out with a Baby Alive sip n slurp. Which is the same thing, except she does not eat food but she drinks out of a sippy cup and you can change her diapers. Emma got one for her birthday and the 1st thing she wanted to do this morning was feed her doll and change her diaper. I managed to get her 1st diaper changing experience with pics! You can see she is still in her PJ's and had just gotten out of bed. :)

My baby girl is 5!!! I cannot believe she is getting so big! It is hard when you know that you are not having any more babies and this is the last one you will have any of the milestones with! :0(

Emma is going to school :0(

I registered my baby for Kindergarten today! :0( We took all the stuff in and they will be mailing out Classroom assignments on Wednesday. She seems to be excited. I have to finish up her school supply shopping this weekend. Brooke is ready to start as far as school shopping goes. I think she would be fine without going back at all. She does not like the getting up early during school. This year, there will be TWO to get ready! No more, just getting Emma out of the bed and in the car to take Brooke to school.

Emma also informed me that she wanted to ride the bus home in the afternoon. I am planning on talking to Brooke to see if thats something she might want to do. As long as they are together, I don't see where it could hurt.

I don't think it has really hit me yet about Emma starting school. I did not cry today, but I can tell that next Thursday will be bad.

Brooke and Emma's party

We had Brooke and Emma's birthday party last Friday and here are some of the pics. Brooke's birthday was last Wednesday and Emma's is the 25th so we decided to do one together. It rained most of the day of the party and the tempature dropped to the 70's for the party but the kids swam anyway. We rented the entire pool so it was nice. :)

Point Mallard

Today we took the girls to Point Mallard in Decatur! We were there for just a few minutes when a BAD storm blew in and they closed the pools for over an hour. We decided to wait it out and sure enough, they were able to open the pools back up. We had alot of fun riding the slides and playing in the wave pool! Hopefully we can go back sometime when we don't have to sit out for a storm to pass! ;0)
