Well, we made it! We survived a night in the ZOO camping with the critters! lol! Steve and I took Emma and went with my cousin Lisa and her husband Bo, and thier 2 little ones, Kenzie and Bella and we all camped out at the Nashville Zoo! We had a blast. Me and Lisa about cracked ourselves up trying to sneak out so that she could go to the bathroom and I could go smoke. (Nashville Zoo is a non-smoking facility, BTW) So as we were walking down through there, we hear the STRANGEST noise and I swear, you have never seen 2 woman run like that before. I don't think I have ran that fast ever in my life! :-) We got back to the tent and we were both cracking up and barely able to breathe. We then sat outside and just watched some man take down his tent at like midnight. We are still unsure why he left! Maybe he could not sleep with us giggling all night. Finally, we decided to go to bed. So we both snuck into our tents, trying not to wake up our kids or husbands. We had a BLAST! I almost froze trying to keep warm. Lisa had bought a fan for her tent. I was ready for a heater in mine.

Oh, by the way, did I mention that our kids had a BLAST too! ;-) 

This morning was Emma's easter party at school and we had to bring Treat bags and something to eat for the party! We sat down and made the treat bags last night and after she went to bed, I made "nests" and then put them in the fridge so that they could set up. This morning, Emma helped me put the "eggs" (jelly beans) in the nests. She was so proud of herself. Notice the bed hair she has in this picture, she woke up and sat up in the bed and said "Mommy, is it time to fill the nests yet?" So before breakfast or anything this morning, We finished building our nests and she took them to school. She told all the little kids that her and her mommy made them!  

Today, had been one of those days that you don't want to repeat themselves again. Emma has been bouncing off the walls all day and she is now in her room screaming at the TOP of her lungs because she is having a meltdown undoubtly! She is always screaming "I want to go somewhere! I want to go somewhere!" I do not know what to do with her! I know alot of it has to do with the fact that she is bored out of her mind here and she wants to go outside but there is nothing for her to do and she is frustrated but I cannot help it. There is nothing I can do. The closest park is 20 min away and I don't honestly know what to do when I have things I have to get done around here and I cannot take off to the park for 2 hours every day! I am not sure if this is just a stage that will pass or what but alll I know is I am ready to change my name! ;-) I am sure Hailee will be up soon, since Emma's screaming was loud enough to shatter glass and Hailee was sleeping in the next bedroom. I am off to check and see. Maybe this will pass soon!

WOO HOO! I am so excited!!!!! We bought a house, well we are building one. We won't be closing for a few months but we picked out all of our carpet, tile, shutters, fixtures, cabinets and countertops today and I had a blast. This is the 1st house we have ever built so it was fun having a say in how it was going to turn out! ;-) By the time, Emma goes to school or it might be her 1st grade year, there will be a school that backs up to our subdivision so I will be able to see her school from the front door. That will be nice also! I am so excited and blessed to have this opportunity. Today was a GOOD day! :-)

Today was Emma's recital picture day and it went great! We got up this morning and got ready even though, we were both tired! I did not go to bed until about 1 this morning. The storms make me a nervous wreck! So by the time, I got in bed, it was so late and I was so tired, I thought I would never get up this morning!

We got up and Emma had some cereal and then we got her hair rolled, which lasted about 15 minutes before she pulled all those out. So we go to my grandmother's shop and got her costume on her! (Memaw was sewing the flowers on the costume) After that we had to go to Spell's dancewear and get her new tights. Then we were off to the studio. Pictures we over within 15 minutes and we were done with that! Emma and I then decided to go see her daddy so that he could see her in her costume! After we left there, we went and got some lunch and came home. Now comes the fun part of getting all the makeup off of a 3 yr old! I may wait until later for that! ;-)

Today is going to be a nasty day outside from what I hear! We have storms moving in that look really bad and I am a big ole chicken when it comes to storms! :-( I am one of those kind that live in the closet when I hear them come on TV. Steve is just the opposite, he just sits there and does not move! I am preparing now, by moving some toys in there and things to keep Emma preoccupied and I already have my both my camera;s in there and a couple other things that are precious to me. I am a nut, I know, but I can't help it! lol! Oh well! Hopefully, I can blog later and say that we had nothing. I am off to finish preparing my makeshift shelter!

Oh I am so excited to say that Miss Taylor Paige made cheerleading tryouts for Sparkman Middle school! She is so happy and excited! I am very proud of her and so is her entire family! She wanted this so bad and it is nice to see her hard work pay off. Also, it will be an incentive to keep those grades UP!!! Way to go, Taylor!!!!
