Update

What an exhausting week!

My grandmother was admitted into the hospital last Friday because of her Coumiden levels being so high since she started on it and the beginning of the month. She just got out of the hospital on Easter Sunday after a 6 day stay so, between that visit and this one, she has been in the hospital almost as much as she has been out. It really scares me when she has these spells, She is the closest thing I have to a parent since Mom and Dad died and I do not know what I would do without her. :0( She is back out of the hospital now and hoping that her levels stay normal so that she does not have to go back in.

Emma has Cheer Clinic in the morning, @ Taylor's school. She is soooo excited to be going. Caroline is going to and so is her cousin Olivia so I think all the girls will have fun. I am sure she will come back wanting to be a cheerleader, since she wants to be one now already!

Brooke's grades have been great recently, seems like she is getting the hang of it, I only wish it came earlier in the school year. She is doing super in ball and she loves all the little girls on her team. She has known alot of them since she started playing so it is nice when they all get back together since the last ball season.

Not much else going on around here, I should be in the bed already since I have to get up in the AM early for Cheer clinic. I am hoping I can come home and get some housework done while she is there. :0)

We had our double header ball game on Saturday. We lost both games but Brooke played her heart out. She was so exhausted after both games. We all went to Dairy Queen to celebrate her hard work!

Sunday, the kids played outside in the sprinklers and on the slip-n-slide. It was so warm that the kids really needed it. It should be warm for awhile now, at least that is what the forcasts say. We all know this is Alabama, so that may change......

My softball star!

Woo Hoo! Brooke has been asked to sub for the 10 yr olds softball team, since some of thier players will be out for the season, they called and wanted to know if they could use Brooke to fill in! :) That is huge considering, that they asked around on who they thought could play with the older girls! :) I am soooo happy for her, and she is really excited about it! We will have to see how she does, since her 1st game with them is on Sat!

We won our game!

Our softball games have started.. Brooke's team won thier game by a landslide! :) She was very happy but exhausted since she did not get in the bed until 1o:15. She was okay to wake up this morning, but only because, I made her promise last night not to give me a hard time.

Progress Reports came home last week and she has brought all of her grades up or stayed the same. Nothing went down! :) Won't be long until school will be out!

Update

Whew! School is back in session and I can truly feel it! ;0) Tommorow is Emma's Easter party @ school so I have to make her eggs for the egg hunt and make the Jelly bean nests for her party, so that should be fun. Brooke has her party later on this week as well, so I dropped off her candy @ school this morning.

Easter Sunday is this weekend, and I have not even STARTED shopping for an easter dress! :0(
I have to find time to do that tommorow, since she will be out of school on Friday for Good Friday. (Something, I had not considered! EEKS!!) Thank GOODNESS, the girls are all finished so I only have to find something for me. (Which could be the hardest one!)

Brooke is still doing ball practice, she has her Opening Day festivities on the 14th, then ball games will be in full swing.

We also have ARMT and SAT testing @ school, which is nice, since we don't have homework! ;0). Plus, the girls have been going to bed 30 minutes earlier, which is REALLY nice!

Steve and I stayed up last night and watched The Pursuit of Happyness. It turned out pretty good!

Emma had her Camp preview this past weekend. We drove there on Sunday and spent a couple of hours touring the facilty. I think she will have a blast. She seems so excited and Brooke is more than ready for her to go and have 2 weeks with no little sister during the day. She is already planning out our days! ;0)

I think that is about all that is going on around here! I better get off this computer and start getting ready for work.
