I can't wait!!

It won't be long now!! Until the kids get here. I can't wait for them all to see thier new house!! I am SO excited. I have to charge my camcorder this afternoon! :-)

We got moved!

Well, we made it! :-) The movers moved all of our stuff yesterday and I must begin the task of unpacking all the stuff. I will unpack it hastily and cheerfully though, I am in my my OWN home and I don't have a landlord to tell me I can not paint my bathroom blue or my dining room green. What a blessing just in itself. I can plant all the flowers I want and not have to worry that I won't be around to enjoy them. We have come along way from a 1 bedroom apt to now a 5 bedroom home that is less than a year old. GOD IS GOOD!! I am blessed!!!

Bad news and good news!

Well, we had a little scare today with the house. :-( The appraisal came back for our new house. The house appraised for 6 thousand dollars less then the purchase price. So we can either put down a down payment of $6000 and buy the house or the people will have to eat the $6000. I got a call from my realtor and she said the people were saying they could not come up with it, and that we needed too. I told her no, it was not our fault, they were trying to sell it for more than it was worth!

A little while later, my realtor called me back and said that she had it all worked out. I asked her what she did and she said that they (my agent and the seller's real estate agent) had decided to just take a lesser commision so that niether one of us would have to come up with the money. I thought that was so nice, since, they did not have to do that at all. So it looks like everything is back on again and this time with a purchase price that is $6000 lower than it was when we decided to purchase the home. :-)

Yesterday was "Football Friday" for Emma's preschool. Here are a couple of pics of her with some of her friends! :0) 

Today was my mother-in-law's birthday! We got her a throw, a picture, and some of those new silicone pot-holders. She seemed to like it all!! :-) Happy Birthday Maw-Maw!

On Saturday, me and Emma got to go watch Caroline play soccer. This was the 1st game we could go too. It was pretty warm on Saturday so we tried to stay cool as much as possible. Harrison and Emma played on the playground most of the time, while the game was going on. Caroline did so good. She will try anything almost and she just loves to do it. It was ALOT of fun to watch her, even though, I don't know alot about soccer. ;-)

Harrison is playing too, so we are going to go to one of his games soon!! 

I am sitting here @ the computer, when I should be in bed. I can't sleep so I thought I would update my blog.

Not much going on around our house right now. I am slowly packing up the house. Just taking my time, since we still have 25 days in this house. I can't really pack much, because I am SO scared, I am going to drop something in a box and then need it and have to unpack almost all of them to find it. So, I'm just packing little stuff and working on that right now. It will be so nice to get settled and get everything in place @ the new house. Brooke will be coming to live with me and I am so happy about that. I can't wait to spend some quality time with her and plan some "girl" thing with her and Emma.

It is starting to get cool at night around here, so I am sure before long, it will be time to buy Fall clothes. I know usually by the end of September, it is cool in the evenings so it will be time, to drag the jackets out. I love wintertime, except having to keep up with all those darn socks! ;-)

I better head off to bed. If not, I will never get up in the morning! :-)
